The great Warren J. "Buzz" Haeger, tenor of the 1965 Four Renegades, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the age of 82. His son, Mark and daughter Diane, son-in-law John Welter, and his best friend Marty Mendro were at his side when he died.
The Memorial Service for Warren J. "Buzz" Haeger was held at Christ Church, in Oak Brook, Illinois on November 17, 2007.
In attendance were Clarke Caldwell, Harmony Foundation CEO and his wife and Ev Nau representing the International Staff. Bob Squires, AISQC Historian, Dave Cowin, AISQC Treasurer. AIC Members, Marty Mendro, Ray Henders, Greg Wright, Dick Kingdon, Jay Giallombardo, and many others.
The West Towns Chorus sang "Precious Lord" and "I'll Walk with God" during the service and "Lost in the Stars" at the afterglow followed by quartets, anecdotes, tags, stories, tags, remembrances, tags, eulogies, tags, and "Keep America Singing" directed by the master kibber himself, Marty Mendro.
