We are sad to announce the passing after a long strong battle with
cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Pat of 50 years and his
4 children, Jim (Sue) Bates, Dale Bates, Patty Bates (Steve Lee),
Rick (Paula) Bates, and his 5 grandchildren Tarryn, Gillian, Tyler,
Brianna, and Liam.
He
will be remembered by all his friends from Barbershop Harmony Society,
Royal City Curling Club and His "Golfing buddies".
Memorial
services to be held on Saturday, May 20th, at 2:00pm at the Burkeview
Family Funeral Care.
Donations
in lieu of flowers in his name may be sent to The Centre for Integrated
Healing.
